Petit Trianon: Royal collection by Breguet

Well-known Swiss brand Breguet (known as one of the most prestigious watches manufacturers all over the world), declared about creation of a new collection of a watches and jewels, made in style of well-known French queen Maria Antoinette.
Tiny castle Petit Trianon, located not far from Versailles palace has served as muse for creation of the collection which have received name Breguet Petit Trianon. This graceful palace has been constructed by order of Louis XV for his favorite marchioness Jeanne Antoinette Puasson (le marquis de Pompadour) in 1762-1768. However after accession to the throne in 1774 20-year-old Louis XVI has transferred palace and adjoining park as private residence to the wife, 19-year-old queen Maria Antoinette.
The delightful collection consists of necklace, bracelet, ring, earrings and watches. All set personifies an ideal combination of design beauty and jeweler grace.
The central place of each subject of a collection is devoted to huge brilliant of emerald facet with the set of brilliants with the most expensive facet “princess cut” around it. Partially the design of Breguet Petit Trianon watches is taken from well-known collection Breguet Reine de Naples.
